Made by hand

No two leave the Hollow alike

Every tavern mug is thrown on a wheel, dipped by hand, and fired until the glaze decides what it wants to be. We aim it somewhere between deep moss and ember. It lands where comfort emboldens each sip.

That's the trade-off with real stoneware, and we'd rather keep it than lose it: yours will not match the photo exactly, and it will not match anyone else's.

Thrown
Each mug is shaped on the wheel, one at a time, by a potter and not a mold.
Glazed
The crest is pressed in by hand, then the whole piece is dipped in reactive glaze.
Fired
The kiln does the rest. Heat pulls the color through and no two come out the same.
